Name of College: Western University, London, Ontario, Canada
Date of Visit: 13 July, 2019
It’s been six years since I started attending guidance counselor conferences and visiting universities around the world. Each visit rejuvenates me and makes me realise how much I love the work I do. I am blessed to have supportive colleagues, inspirational role models, and motivated students who ensure I keep working harder! More importantly, I am blessed to have found a passion that makes me look forward to each new day. The just concluded international conference with 1600 attendees at Western University in Canada was an amazing learning experience and an opportunity to connect with colleagues from around the world! As I start a 3 year term on the Professional Development Committee of the global association IACAC, I will continue to learn and grow with these supportive peers!
